Approximately EUR 550 million worth of property investments are in the making. Well-informed sources told Vastgoedmarkt. Two transactions totalling EUR 200 million are practically complete, while advanced discussions on portfolios with a joint value of approximately EUR 350 million are taking place.

Vastgoedmarkt reported earlier that the institutional housing fund Vesteda has presented a portfolio of as yet 2,500 homes on the market, with a WOZ value (value under the Valuation of Immovable Property Act) of approximately EUR 440 million. CBRE Global Investors has a portfolio with 1,000 homes valued at roughly 100 million on sale. The Commercial Pension Fund Sector association for Retail wants to get rid of almost 1,000 homes.

According to sources, sales calls on these portfolios are very advanced. None of the providers want to confirm the sales process. Only Vesteda does not deny that it is selling a large portfolio. The involved consultants – DTZ Zadelhoff, Jones Lang LaSalle, ABC Beleggingen and Capital Value – are extremely reticent.

Potential buyers are Anglo-Saxon private equity parties and the Dutch venture investor Quadrigo. In the autumn of 2013, Quadrigo already purchased property worth approximately EUR 95 million from ASR Vastgoed Vermogensbeheer. ABC Beleggingen advised ASR in this.
